NUMBER OF REGIONS

• Will not be tied to "USER COUNT"
• During Onboarding - DentPal will ask how many regions are necessary for the Customer.

IMPORTANT

Regions are:

• arbitrary (customers define them however they want),
• changeable over time (Customer reorganizes),
• not reliably tied to headcount/user number,

The default strategy should be:

• Regions = organizational/permission/reporting construct
• User limits = driven by clinics and role spans we have confidence in (like 1 COM per 8 clinics, 1 ACOA per 8 RMs)

Practical Approach:

• Don’t tie Regions to user count.

Regions used for:

• segmentation (data access),
• routing (tasks/tickets),
• reporting (dashboards),
• optional assignment rules (not user rules).
