Description

Logged in as Company Admin → Navigate to Connect module → Open Medication History / Medical History.

Steps performed:

Added 2 medications and 2 problems in Open Dental.

Synced data successfully.

Current behavior:

Medical History shows 5 records instead of 4.

The 5th record displays:

Name: N/A

Date: Today’s date

Root Cause

Based on the API response received from Open Dental , an additional record is being returned with missing values.

Since Open Dental APIs are our single source of truth , and the data is coming directly from the PMS, there is no reliable way for us to modify this record without risking data inconsistency.

Conclusion

This is a data issue originating from the Open Dental API . If the PMS does not provide complete or correct data, we cannot correct or override it at our end.
